For the purpose of achieving the vision of the Marine & Blue Economy Ministry the Director General of NIMASA Doctor Bashir Jamoh, has paid a working visit to the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral E. I. Ogala, in a quest to deepen the relationship between NIMASA and the Nigerian Navy.
The duo in the meeting for the collective good of the Nigerian Maritime industry, discussed areas of collaboration to ensure the vision of President Bola Tinubu in creating the Marine and Blue Economy Ministry is achieved in good time.
NIMASA in a statement signed by its Spokesman, Edward Osagie, disclosed that the issue of illegal Unreported and Unregulated Fishing was discussed and that they are exploring new vistas to ensure Nigerians enjoy the benefits of natural resources in the maritime industry.
