The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has urged its members to remain calm while placing trust in God for protection as regards cases of alleged spiritual attacks from enemies of the Party in Kano, Ogun and Katsina states.
Secretary General NNPP Headquarters, Comrade Olaposi Oginni, in a statement assured that every move by known enemies to illegally hijack the Party shall be a story of the past.
“Report reaching NNPP head quarters from some members of the party at the above named states indicates incidences of spiritual attacks from known enemies.
“Let us again state clearly that genuine members of the new NNPP are children of God.
“We therefore pronounce once again that no body should be afraid noting that we are children of God and any one with God is with all and duly protected.
“The truth remains that anyone holding a childs belonging and raised hands up, at a time he or she shall lower the hand and the child will collect his or her belongings
“Those holding NNPP property illegally shall lower their hands and we the children of God shall collect our belongings back.
“Therefore spiritual attacks is not a solution to NNPP avoidable circumstances and victory shall be ours.
“But what is certain is that those involved in this ungodly act should note that their confrontation to God is consequential in due time noting that God is very angry,” the statement read in part.
“It is to our knowledge that they have visited India, Niger, Morocco, Maiduguri, Katsina, Egypt and Cameroun, meeting with evil spiritual men of god to help them hijack NNPP,” Ogini alleged in the statement.
“No body should be worried and or afraid about their moves. It is a grave asking in the spiritual realm and it is our hope and belief that they should stop, noting that the change of logo and colour of NNPP without permission of God is regrettable.
“I have the directive of the Founder of NNPP, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, to advise all members to stop insulting, abusing and or castigating Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and Elder Buba Galadima for whatever reasons.
“The Founder insisted that judgement and or vengeance are of the Lord’s and not any human being, noting that Kwankwaso added value to the greatness of NNPP.
“Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has done his best going forward of the New Nigeria People’s Party,” the statement read further.
Oginni in the statement reported that the Founder assured that “the battle is of the Lord and victory shall be ours shortly.”
“The Founder also said that we should pray for all our leaders starting from Mr. President, chairman of INEC and our country and let there be peace of the society, humanity and even for the dead.
“NNPP shall provide Nigerians the greatest leader thereafter 2027 general election. Keep in touch with us accordingly.
“Compliments of the season ahead 2025,” the statement concluded.
