CFAO Mobility Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to growth, innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, as it hosted its 2026 Open Day in Lagos, an event that also saw a lucky guest drive home a brand-new BYD Seagull.

Speaking at the event held at Harbour Point Event Centre in Victoria Island, Managing Director, Denis Martin, said the company remains focused on adapting to changing market realities while delivering value-driven mobility solutions.

The Open Day, which attracted auto enthusiasts and key industry stakeholders, showcased CFAO Mobility’s wide range of brands in Nigeria, including Toyota, BYD, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Yamaha, Fuso, JCB, Howo, King Long, Toyota Material Handling, TechKing Tyres, Winpart, and Auto Fast.

A major highlight of the event was the raffle draw held during the VIP evening cocktail, where one guest won a brand-new BYD Seagull.

Martin described the Open Day, now in its second edition as a reflection of the company’s steady progress and improvements over the past year. He noted that despite global economic uncertainties and shifts within the mobility sector, CFAO Mobility’s diverse portfolio of 14 brands positions it to respond effectively to evolving customer needs and regulatory changes.

“There is volatility, but also strong opportunities to grow and innovate”, he said.

He emphasised that the company’s strategy goes beyond vehicle sales, focusing heavily on after-sales support to ensure long-term performance and customer satisfaction. According to him, maintaining vehicles throughout their lifecycle remains a key priority.

With backing from Toyota Tsusho Corporation and operations spanning 38 African countries, CFAO Mobility continues to leverage one of the continent’s largest automotive distribution networks.

Looking ahead, Martin revealed plans to introduce new models across its portfolio while deepening its commitment to sustainability. He highlighted ongoing investments in fuel-efficient engine technologies, solar-powered facilities, and cleaner mobility options such as electric vehicles and compressed natural gas (CNG) solutions.

He also called for supportive policies, particularly around import duties, to encourage the adoption of hybrid vehicles—describing them as one of the most effective tools for reducing carbon emissions globally.

With over 120 years of presence in Nigeria, CFAO Mobility said it remains committed to delivering safer, greener, and more innovative mobility solutions while sustaining growth in the country’s evolving automotive market.
