The Founder of ABC Transport Plc, Frank Nneji, is set to chair the 10th Anniversary Lecture of City Business News, scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Publisher of City Business News, Moses Ebosele, disclosed that the lecture is themed “Logistics As The Engine Room Of Nigeria’s Economy”.

Ebosele explained that the anniversary lecture forms part of activities marking a decade of impactful business journalism, policy engagement, and strategic reporting across key sectors including maritime, transport, aviation, energy, capital markets, and finance.

He described Nneji as one of Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurs whose contributions to modern transportation and logistics management have significantly transformed the intercity transport landscape.

“Frank Nneji’s leadership, innovation, and commitment to service excellence have continued to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs and logistics professionals across Africa. We are honoured to have him chair this landmark anniversary lecture”, Ebosele said.

An accomplished entrepreneur and management expert, Nneji founded ABC Transport Plc with a vision to revolutionise road transportation in Nigeria through safety, comfort, innovation, and customer-focused services.

Under his leadership, the company pioneered several industry innovations, including structured shuttle services, modern terminal operations, online booking platforms, and enhanced passenger safety standards. Over the years, ABC Transport expanded into haulage, logistics, hospitality, vehicle leasing, and regional transport services across West Africa, earning a strong reputation for professionalism and operational excellence.

The anniversary lecture is expected to provide a platform for robust discussions on the critical role of logistics and transportation infrastructure in driving Nigeria’s economic growth and regional trade integration.

The keynote lecture, also titled “Logistics As The Engine Room Of Nigeria’s Economy”, will be delivered by Boboye Oyeyemi, a respected authority in transportation and logistics management.

Oyeyemi, an immediate past Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps and current President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, is expected to lead high-level discourse at the event.

The gathering will bring together key stakeholders from both public and private sectors, including maritime operators, transport experts, policymakers, regulators, bankers, manufacturers, and media practitioners.
