Concerned with the need to improve the nation’s aviation industry, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Captain Rabiu Yadudu, Tuesday hosted the daily editors of the print and electronic media to a breakfast meeting to discuss areas of collaboration.
In his opening remarks, Yadudu noted that the meeting is aimed at consolidating on the robust relationship between FAAN and the media, adding that the Authority shall continue to hold these kinds of meetings on a regular basis going forward.
He stated that the meeting was an interactive one and that participants should feel free to ask him questions in any area of airport operations.
There were questions on concession, privatisation, facilities and infrastructure, with the Managing Director doing justice to all the questions.
He also used the opportunity to invite the media community to the FAAN National Aviation Conference (FNAC) holding from the 14th to 17th June, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The Conference according to him will focus on sharing ideas and information, as well as apprising potential investors with opportunities available in the Nigerian aviation industry.
