Businesses must consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences to earn customers’ trust, strengthen loyalty and build lasting relationships, Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, has said.

Afolabi made this known during the celebration of the 2026 Customer Service Week at the company’s headquarters in Lagos, where he identified excellent service delivery as a key factor behind the successes recorded by the group’s subsidiaries across various sectors.

He said the company remained committed to raising its service standards and ensuring that customers received experiences that went beyond their expectations.

Addressing customers during the celebration, Afolabi expressed appreciation for their continued confidence in the group, noting that their patronage and partnerships remained a source of motivation for improved service delivery.

“At SIFAX Group, we believe that exceptional service is not just about meeting expectations but about creating experiences built on trust, responsiveness and lasting relationships”, he said.

He also commended the company’s workforce for their contributions to its growth, acknowledging the roles of both customers and employees in the group’s journey.

“On behalf of the board and management, I wish to express our deepest appreciation to you, our esteemed customers and members of staff, for being an important part of our journey. Happy Customer Service Week. We are always happy going the extra mile for you”, he added.

Also speaking, the Group Coordinating Director, Wunmi Eniola-Jegede, represented by the Director of Operations and Strategy, Oliver Omajuwa, praised employees for their contributions to implementing the group’s business vision and building strong customer relationships through effective service delivery.

She said SIFAX Group considered customer satisfaction a daily responsibility rather than an obligation limited to the annual celebration.

“To us at SIFAX Group, every day is a Customer Service Day because the customers are the lifeblood of our company. We have positioned ourselves to respond, serve and exceed the expectations of our customers every day”, she said.

Eniola-Jegede explained that the celebration provided an opportunity to appreciate customers for their continued patronage and support while recognising employees whose efforts remained critical to delivering quality service.

The week-long celebration featured activities across the group’s subsidiaries, including health talks, medical checks, town hall meetings, wellness and fitness sessions, customer visits and games.

Employees also participated in themed dress-up activities, wearing traditional attire, old-school outfits, corporate clothing and sportswear as part of the celebrations.

Customer Service Week is an annual observance dedicated to recognising the importance of customer service and celebrating the professionals who serve and support customers.
