Air Peace has successfully concluded the fourth phase of its humanitarian evacuation operation from South Africa, bringing home another 284 stranded Nigerians in collaboration with the Federal Government.

The latest evacuation mission, carried out on Tuesday with the airline’s Boeing 777-200 wide-body aircraft, reflected Air Peace’s continued support for national emergency response efforts by providing safe and seamless transportation for Nigerians affected by the recent wave of xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

With the completion of the latest operation, Air Peace has now repatriated a total of 1,085 Nigerians in four humanitarian evacuation flights. The airline previously evacuated 262 Nigerians on June 11, 271 on June 30, 268 on July 3, and 284 on July 9.

The achievement highlighted the airline’s readiness to deploy its fleet and operational capacity whenever national emergencies require urgent intervention.

Beyond transporting passengers, the evacuation exercise reflected Air Peace’s longstanding commitment to humanitarian service, patriotism, and ensuring that Nigerians stranded abroad can safely return home during periods of crisis.

The latest mission also added to the airline’s growing record of humanitarian interventions. Since commencing operations, Air Peace has undertaken more than 16 evacuation and relief missions across Africa and other parts of the world, supporting emergency repatriations, humanitarian crises, and national intervention programmes.

Reaffirming its commitment to the country, the airline said it remains dedicated to connecting people beyond destinations by restoring hope, reuniting families, and standing ready to respond whenever Nigerians need a safe journey home.
