All is set for the 2022 FinTechTour lecture, to be held in Lagos, September 22, the organiser, Chinyere Ogidi, has disclosed.

She said, the whole essence of the lecture was to bridge the gap between the finance, technology and tourism industries.

Ogidi, who is the publisher of Waka About Africa,  said the lecture which will be the first of its kind in the country, would bring together policy makers, media groups, professionals and stakeholders in the ICT, finance, aviation, tourism and culture industries to interact under one roof, share experiences and unlock opportunities.

She opined that this was quite important to ensure that industries in Nigeria run seamlessly and operate at the optimal level as well, hence the expo which would feature a lecture and panels of discussions.

According to her, the hidden relationships between the three industries and opportunities therein would be revealed for individual Nigerians to latch on for improvement in their investments in these industries.

Ogidi said that the conference with the theme “FinTechTour: Unlocking Opportunities For Nigerian Businesses,” would be held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) Conference Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

“Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Danbatta, will be the keynote speaker at the lecture, while Economist and Strategist, Doctor Victor Adoji, is the guest lecturer and Vice-Chancellor, Achievers University, Professor Samuel Aje, will chair the occasion,” Ogidi said in a statement.
